These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the After Rehab mobile and web application and related services (the "Service"). The Service is provided by After Rehab("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or continuing to use the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Who you are contracting with

You are entering into a contract with After Rehab. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization. If you are using the Service as an individual, you confirm that you are of legal age to enter into this agreement.

2. The Service

After Rehab provides digital recovery support tools, including daily structure, sober tracking, in-the-moment craving support, progress insights, and a moderated community. The Service is informational and supportive in nature and is not a substitute for medical, psychiatric, or other professional treatment, advice, or diagnosis. In an emergency, contact local emergency services.

3. Your account

• You must provide accurate information when creating your account and keep it up to date.
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential.
• You are responsible for all activity that takes place under your account.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service. In particular, you must not:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law;
• Engage in fraud, harassment, hate speech, or spam;
• Infringe the intellectual property or privacy rights of others;
• Attempt to interfere with the security or integrity of the Service (including malware, probing, scraping, or reverse engineering);
• Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Service without our written consent;
• Circumvent technical limits, access controls, or paid tier restrictions.

5. Community content

Premium members can post and comment in our community. You retain ownership of the content you submit, but you grant After Rehab a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display, and process that content solely for the purpose of operating the Service. We reserve the right to remove, hide, or restrict any content that violates these Terms or our Community Guidelines, including via automated moderation.

6. Intellectual property

After Rehab and its licensors retain all right, title, and interest in and to the Service, including all related software, design, content, branding, and documentation. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service in accordance with these Terms and your selected plan.

7. Payments and subscriptions

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax, cancellation, and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or annual, depending on your plan) until canceled. You can cancel at any time from the Subscription screen in the app. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period and you will retain access until then. Where a free trial is offered, you can cancel before the trial ends to avoid being charged.

8. Service availability

We work hard to keep the Service available, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service from time to time.

9. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if:

• You materially breach these Terms;
• A payment fails and is not resolved through Paddle's normal retry process;
• We reasonably believe your account poses a security or fraud risk;
• You repeatedly or seriously violate our Community Guidelines.

On termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately. We will retain or delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Notice.

10. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, After Rehab's aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service shall not exceed the fees you paid to us (via Paddle) in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the liability. We will not be liable for indirect, consequential, incidental, special, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by negligence where such exclusion is prohibited by law.

12. Your indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold After Rehab harmless from claims arising out of content you submit, your use of the Service in violation of these Terms, or your unlawful conduct.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you in-app or by email. Continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which After Rehab is established, without regard to conflict of law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
